The American Defense Recon one-piece scope mount is an excellent option for adding high-power glass to your AR-pattern rifle. The cantilever design allows the shooter to obtain the perfect eye relief, while providing clearance for optics with up to 56mm objectives. Like all American Defense mounts it is precision machined from durable 6061-T6 aluminum with a hardcoat anodized finish for long service life. This mount will place optics to a central height of 2.10" allowing the objective bell to clear a laser sighting system such as the PEQ-2/PEQ-4 or for rifles requiring a higher cheek weld.
